Seems like we’re actually kissing winter goodbye, doesn’t it? Hope we haven’t jinxed it! Here are a few updates for you.
First and most importantly, it’s Spring!!!! That means that our wonderful Social Committee has dusted off the inactivity of winter and planned its offerings for the rest of the year. Coming up is a Neighbor Night Supper event, where neighbors who are hungry for food and neighborly exchanges gather for an evening of companionship. This event is scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025 at 6:00PM at the Alpine Club. The price has increased a bit to $20 per person (cash only). The fare is lemon chicken with a pasta bar. Next, we have several updates to our Resources Listing. Rich Luczko (homeowner and neighbor) has recommended John Lugaila (Owner) of MRT Contracting at 412-651-1266. He’s your man for all of your heating and cooling needs. At last posting, Lucy Serio (homeowner and Chair of our ARC) had a great plumbing recommendation, Alex from JCR Plumbing (724-986-0124). If Alex is unavailable in your time frame of need, you might try Cirigliano Plumbing (412-606-6475). He is the second plumbing service recommended by Lucy.
These recommendations bring up a related subject! Our Resource List has recently been updated with the above services. We have also deleted many old referrals from homeowners no longer in residence. So, we are looking to add new skilled service providers to our Resource Guide. If you have had a good experience with a particular service, please feel free to email wenbellz@gmail.com with your recommendation. Thanks in advance for your participation in this project.

Below are some documents that will give you the most important Association information that every H.O.G. homeowner needs to know.
The following documents make up the legal "agreement" -- known as "The Covenants" -- between Association and Homeowner here at Hickory on the Green
Remember, you must submit a COMPLETED Alteration Request Form (signed by you and your neighbors; attach a drawing of what you want to do with specifications) for any change that you want to make to the exterior of your building and property. Any changes requested must be approved in writing by the Board prior to work beginning!! Failure to obtain approval prior to commencing work carries a $100 fine and may result in Board action requiring you to remove or redo the work you've done.
To submit your Alteration Request Form, you can email a scanned form and documentation to CMP at:
